Hello. This is Jason Bradburn, the principal of Bloomfield Elementary School. This message is for the parents of our K-1 students.
After working with teachers and our transportation department, I am pleased to inform you that the planned field trip on Thursday, October 31, 2024, will still occur even if the school is on eLearning.
There are some important details I want to share to ensure this is a smooth experience for everyone.
I will need parents to park in the parking lot beside the bus lot to drop off their children. Teachers will meet their students between 8:20 – 8:45.
Since nobody will enter the school, please ensure your child has used the restroom before loading the bus.
Buses will leave the parking lot promptly at 8:45.
The buses will return between 11:45 and 12:00. Please be there to pick up your child at that time. Buses will not provide transportation to your home.
You should also email your child's teacher and let them know if your child will or will not be attending the field trip. This will ensure buses can leave on time and are not waiting for a student who may not be attending.
Lastly, due to the Waldron Arts Center's no-refund policy, we cannot provide refunds for students who cannot attend.
I appreciate your flexibility as we work to make this valuable educational experience possible. If you have any questions, please email your child's teacher; they will gladly help you.
